Initial state leaderboard features 11 locals among the best

The initial leaderboard was released on Friday morning for the top players in the state in terms of pure yardage (passing, rushing, receiving). Of those who made the first cut, 11 local players are on the list in their respective categories. Four players appeared in the passing leaders, three in the rushing list, and four more in the receiving category. Gunner Stockton was the only one featured in two (passing & rushing). The highest-ranking in any category was Stockton’s passing yards and Habersham’s Joshua Pickett (receiving yards), both of which ranked 21st in the state.
