The White County Lady Warriors (9-7-2) earned a trip to the Class 4A Sweet 16 with a thrilling 1-0 win, with the goal coming in overtime by Derrica Rohmeyer with two minutes left.
It was a monumental win for the program, taking down powerhouse North Oconee (11-5-2), a #2-seed playing at home.
The Lady Warriors advance to take on Northwest Whitfield, the top seed out of region 6-AAAA on May 1. The shut out was the seventh of the season for the stellar White County defense.
