BLITZ Player of the Year Awards are given to the top athletes in their respective sports. Our voting panel combs through the list of nominations from coaches and, after coming up with a finalist pool from that group, votes for the player of the year. The voting panel consists of sports media members across Northeast Georgia, as well as GHSA officials, sports video producers, former players and more. Our Player of the Year Awards are presented by John Megel Ford, Bagwell Insurance-Matt Adams, Harbin Lumber, United Community Bank, MyGA Credit Union, Habersham EMC, Cofield Outdoors, Rabun Flooring, Forward Rabun, Beck Funeral Home, and Scott Tolbert Law Firm.
