BIO INFO
Max Brown
Jefferson Dragons LB #1
Class of 2027
4-Star Recruit
6’0 – 220 lbs
An endless motor. Max Brown is an incredibly-gifted athlete who had the privilege of playing with and behind 5-star brother Sammy Brown. That meant an earlier development into what has him ahead of Sammy at this point in his career. He’s thick, powerful, fast, and athletic. One of the first to the ball on every defensive play. Absolute star in the making. -Brian Carter, BLITZ

VIDEOS & HIGHLIGHTS
FRESHMAN SEASON (2023)
In a season where the Dragons went all the way to the State Semifinals and won a region title, Max got on the field sparingly early on before carving out a bigger role with older brother and 5-star recruit Sammy Brown. He had 43 tackles and two TFL with a sack. That included a season-high nine tackles in the State Quarterfinals. He saw action in 12 games.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2024)
Brown was the top tackler for Jefferson as a sophomore, playing around a knee injury to rack up 152 tackles (14 TFL), including two sacks. He had nine double-digit tackle games, including in each of the final six games of the season that included the Dragons playing in the State Championship. He had 12 tackles (1 TFL) in the title game loss to Calhoun. He posted a career-high 15 tackles in the Semifinals at home against LaGrange. He earned All-Region 1st Team honors and was an AJC All-State selection.
JUNIOR SEASON (2025)
As Max Brown got off to a blistering start defensively (as expected), with 36 tackles and 10 for loss in just the first three games, he broke through as an offensive weapon as well. He totaled three TD with a 92-yd KO return for a score and had 139 rushing yards and 2 TD against Clarke Central. He added 190 yards and 2 TD against Stephens County, giving him 429 yards rushing with just 43 totes (10.0 YPC). On the very first play of the game at home against North Oconee, a 2-yard rush by Brown would be his final snap of the season. He suffered a knee injury that ended his season prematurely.
SENIOR YEAR (2026)
