GIRLS TENNIS

CADY GEDDINGS

Cady Geddings was a standout for the Lady Indians at Lumpkin County, posting back-to-back-to-back 10-plus win seasons at #2 singles. After going 13-3 at the #2 singles line as a 2021 junior, she piggybacked off that with a 16-3 2022 season, giving her 53 wins in her career against just 6 losses. Geddings went on to play tennis at Brenau University.


GINEVRA GRADASSI

The 2019 BLITZ Player of the Year, Gradassi proved herself one of the top players in the state. She was the Region POY in her senior season, leading the Lady Dragons to a deep playoff run. She was 18-2 overall.


JADEN HOARD

Jaden Hoard spent her career winning 90% of her matches. She was twice named All-Region, and went 51-6 overall at #2 singles behind Chloe Smith. She was a big part of 3 region titles and 3 deep playoff runs.


ARIEL KELSICK

Ariel Kelsick only got 2 seasons at Tallulah Falls. Still, she left as the all-time singles wins leader with 30. Through her junior and senior campaign, Kelsick won 15 matches in each season, earning back-to-back Region and BLITZ POY honors. That includes leading the Lady Indians to consecutive region titles and a first-ever Elite 8 run. Overall, she was 30-2 in matches, going 369-59 in games and 60-4 in sets played. Total domination. Kelsick went on to play at East Stroudsburg University.


IZZY KINARD

Kinard left Lumpkin as one of the top tennis players in school history. The #1 singles star was a 3-time All-Region selection, and went 43-6 over her career for the Lady Indians. Kinard was also a star softball player, and chose to play that at the next level at Shorter University.


HALLIE REEVES

Hallie Reeves

Reeves put together a fantastic tennis career at Rabun County, going 13-1 at #2 singles in her junior year and 9-3 at #1 singles as a senior, being named Player of the Year. She combined for roughly 35 wins in her career and helped the Lady Wildcats to multiple state tournament berths.


MADISON ROGERS

Madison Rogers was a 4-year #1 singles talent, going 40-16 overall, often in a very tough region. She went 18-3 as a senior in leading her team to a Final 4 appearance, and she was 4-0 in state tournament play. She was named All-Region.


SAVANNA SCOTT

BLITZ HOF - Savanna Scott 2 RABUN CO

Scott made the BLITZ HOF in both tennis and basketball. While basketball is what she ended up having the most success, she also had a stellar tennis career at Rabun. As both a sophomore and junior, she was named BLITZ Tennis Player of the Year. In 2015, she went 12-0 at #3 singles while helping the Lady Cats to their first region title in 20 years. She was named 2nd Team All-Region, and won 77% of her sets and 78% of her games. As a junior in 2016, she again was undefeated at #3 singles, going 13-0, winning over 95% of her sets and 84% of her games. As a senior, she went 9-1 overall at #2 singles, finishing with a career record of 34-1. Scott signed a basketball scholarship with University of North Georgia.


CHLOE SMITH

A 4-year #1 singles player, Chloe Smith was brilliant for Banks County, leading the girls to 3 region titles and an Elite 8 as well as 2 Sweet 16s. She went 52-8 in her career, and was a 4-time All-Region selection and 3-time BLITZ Player of the Year winner.


BRITTANY STEWART

BLITZ HOF - Brittany Stewart - LUMPKIN CO

Brittany Stewart was a two-time BLITZ Player of the Year, and led the Lady Indians to a region championship and state playoff appearance. The #1 singles star was 11-5 as a senior and 27-7 in her career as a number one, and 37-13 overall. Stewart played two seasons at the University of North Georgia, going 7-0 overall.
