The best season in school history – bar none! Towns County matched its program record with a 7-win season. There’s no questioning the heart and soul of this team, which takes on the character of coach Jason Roquemore.
At 26.6 points per game scored and 17.6 allowed, the Indians were well-balanced, and won their final four games. Towns will greatly miss the production of QB Dustin Barrett and standouts Grayson Youngblood, Morgan Walker, Daylen Sosebee, Jacob Nicholson, and Hensel Lobo-Martinez. BUT…star RB Alex Baert (1,317 yds, 13 TD rushing) is back, along with Tucker Engert (250 rec yds, 1 TD), and Sam Sarafin (212 rec yds, 3 TD. There’s enough talent rolling back that this program should be just as solid this coming fall.

Towns County has announced its 2026 Schedule. We dissect the slate, going game-by-game with our way-too-early predictions for the regular season. The following insight depends heavily on the known – returning or departing players, incoming players we know of, etc. The unknown is the other side of the same coin – some unknown up-and-coming middle school talent, JV standouts, move-ins, etc.
