Complete turmoil for Banks County early on last year – but Mark Hollars stepping in to take over the program helped bring stability to the Leopards football program. The 0-10 mark was the first since 2013 for Banks, and administration made a key decision to play a non-region schedule in 2026.
The Leopards are young in so many spots, and this might be exactly what they need to get back into contention before leaping back into a region slate with playoff opportunities. For the time being, look for the Leopards to build through this process (two seasons for now). Players like Zykel Ingram and Macade Huff will be relied upon heavily, as the team loses some of their top players in Davian Knox, Caden Watson, Dayden Rogers, Cam Cooper, and Lane Morris.

Banks County has announced its 2026 Schedule. We dissect the slate, going game-by-game with our way-too-early predictions for the regular season. The following insight depends heavily on the known – returning or departing players, incoming players we know of, etc. The unknown is the other side of the same coin – some unknown up-and-coming middle school talent, JV standouts, move-ins, etc.
