The BLITZ Track & Field Athletes of the Week are Kady McCullough (White), Sadie Chambers (Habersham), and Madison Dorsett (Dawson). McCullough won the Fan Vote with 4,594 of the 8,515 total votes. Chambers and Dorsett were the BLITZ Picks.
KADY MCCULLOUGH – WHITE COUNTY
Kady McCullough won her Triple Jump event last week for White County. The Lady Warriors’ sophomore recorded a 32-4 in the win, and earns her first BLITZ POW award.
SADIE CHAMBERS – HABERSHAM CENTRAL
Sadie Chambers is unbelievable! Going straight from basketball as a star point guard to dominating in track and field, the Habersham Central sophomore is out to break records this year. Chambers had a pair of top finishes in the high jump, where she had a weekly-best of 5-6. That ranks first in all of Class 5A and tied for second in all classifications in Georgia. She was also 2nd in the 300 MH (52.74) and 5th in the 100 MH (19.12). This is her first POW award.

MADISON DORSETT – DAWSON COUNTY
Speaking of breaking records, Madison Dorsett is wasting absolutely no time at Dawson County. The freshman standout was 1st in the 400 last week with a 57.56, setting a school record. She was 2nd in the 4×200 Relay with another school record of 1:49.51, and was also 2nd in the 4×400 Relay. This is her first POW award.
