KELLYN COFER – LUMPKIN COUNTY

Kellyn Cofer is into breaking records. The Lumpkin County junior broke the 100 record with a 12.85 at a meet in Carrollton last week. The Lady Indians’ standout also registered a 26.92 in the 200. This is her first POW award.

JOANNA MILLER – TALLULAH FALLS

Joanna Miller is off to a quick start after winning a couple of state titles last year. The junior had multiple top-5 finishes at a couple of big meets last week for Tallulah. Miller was 3rd in the 100 (12.95), 3rd and 4th in the long jump (weekly best of 15-11), 3rd in the 200 (26.73), and 3rd in the 400 (1:02.57). She also anchored the 4×400 Relay (4:31.57). These came at the Lights at Lanier and Bob Roller Eagle Inv. This is Miller’s third career POW award.
