KADEN SMITH – HABERSHAM CENTRAL

Kaden Smith hit .500 (3 hits) last week in two games for the top-10 ranked Habersham Central Raiders. The third baseman knocked in three runs and had a double, earning his first BLITZ POW award.

SAWYER GAILEY – WHITE COUNTY

White County junior Sawyer Gailey raced out to a quick start for 2026. The Warriors’ pitcher/outfielder was 1-0 with a 0.71 ERA, striking out nine against just one hit in five innings. At the dish, he hit .636 with a homer, six RBI, five runs, a double, walk, and stolen base all in three games played. This is his first POW award.

ASHTON ROACHE – TALLULAH FALLS

Perhaps the best overall talent in our area, Ashton Roache is committed to Cal. The DI prospect and professional hopeful in just one game asserted his dominance. The Tallulah Falls senior earned a win with a perfect ERA, striking out six batters in the process. Offensively, he hit .750 (3-for-4) with four RBI and three runs, adding a triple. This is his second career POW award.
