The BLITZ Girls Basketball Players of the Week are Lia Sanjur (Tallulah Falls), Alayna Lindley (Lumpkin), and Ava Roberson (Dawson). Sanjur won the Fan Vote with 3,690 of the 7,275 total votes. Lindley and Roberson were the BLITZ Picks.

LIA SANJUR – TALLULAH FALLS

Lia Sanjur claims her second BLITZ award with a game that saw her do a little bit of everything. The TFS senior guard had eight points, five assists, three rebounds, two blocks, and one steal.

ALAYNA LINDLEY – LUMPKIN COUNTY

In a thrilling comeback win for Lumpkin County in the regular season finale, senior guard Alayna Lindley could not miss against top-10 White County. Lindley drained six 3-pointers as part of a 20-point outing in a big win for the Lady Indians. This is her second career POW award.

AVA ROBERSON – DAWSON COUNTY

Dawson County center Ava Roberson averaged 17.0 points and 11.5 rebounds per game last week for the Lady Tigers. For the senior, it’s her second career award.
