Through each full week of sports in the school year, we’ll recognize the Teams of the Week, brought to you by Cofield Outdoors!

Girls Basketball – Habersham Central Lady Raiders

The Lady Raiders have four straight wins, and last week kept it going with a win over Winder Barrow. Habersham is 10-7 overall and heating up with a 3-2 mark in region play.

Boys Basketball – Dawson County Tigers

The Tigers won three straight games, including against Chestatee, North Hall, and White County to pull to 10-7 overall and 4-2 in region play. Look out for Dawson County.

Wrestling – Jefferson Dragons

The Dragons did it again! Winning a state championship never gets old for this program. One of the best of all-time in Georgia history just keeps loading up the trophy case. Jefferson beat Mary Persons, White County, Gilmer County, and finally Troup County to take the tournament!
