Girls Basketball – Banks County Lady Leopards & Jefferson Lady Dragons

Banks County, the defending State Runner-Up, is 5-5 overall this season, but last week started to truly turn a corner. With three straight wins, the Lady Leopards are looking the part, including going 1-0 in region play. Senior point guard Ansley Moore is among the standouts, along with Marleigh Dale and Cannon Collier.

The Lady Dragons have now won five in a row, and are 9-3 on the season. Jefferson beat East Forsyth, North Atlanta, and Harrison last week, and are surging with several young players starting to come into their own.

Boys Basketball – Lumpkin County Indians

This team continues to rise, with now a perfect 10-0 start and the only team locally left undefeated. The Indians have a roster that includes Landon Pierce, Jordan Richerson, Jackson Pulley, Keiwhan Gallagher, and others. What a time it is to be a Lumpkin County fan!
