Football – Jefferson Dragons

Jefferson overcame a 21-0 deficit in the first quarter against Cairo to win 47-28 and stake a third straight semifinals berth. The Dragons were relentless in every facet of the game, and made adjustments as necessary and never gave up.

Girls Basketball – Commerce Lady Tigers

The Lady Tigers are 6-0 to open the season. Last week, they went 3-0 with wins over Stephens County, Washington-Wilkes, and Mountain View. Vi’Tory Williams, Essence Hester, Niya Daniels, and Taylor Clark are leading the team so far.

Boys Basketball – Lumpkin County Indians

The Indians are off to a wild start at 6-0. Lumpkin had a 30-point win this past week over Walnut Grove, and up and down the roster players are getting it done!
