Habersham Central advanced to another Sweet 16 with a thrilling 3-2 win over Effingham County!

CLASS 3A

#3 Jefferson 3, #30 Peach County 0

The Lady Dragons punched their Sweet 16 ticket with a 3-0 straight-set win over visiting Peach County.

#11 White County 3, #22 Upson-Lee 0

White County secured a trip to the Sweet 16 with a 3-0 shutout win over Upson-Lee. It was a 25-13 first set and 25-19 second set before taking the third as well.

#15 Dawson County 3, #18 Jenkins 0

Dawson County won in straight sets, 25-5, 25-19, 25-22 over Jenkins to advance to the Sweet 16.

#14 NW Whitfield 3, #19 Lumpkin County 2

After taking a quick 2-0 lead, Lumpkin County fell in the following three sets to drop a 3-2 final at NW Whitfield. They won 25-21, 25-22, before dropping the final three 24-26, 15-25, 6-15.

CLASS 2A

#17 Union County 3, #16 Kendrick 0

Union County rolled to a 3-0 win over Kendrick on the road, reaching the Sweet 16.

#7 Franklin County 3, #26 East Jackson 1

Franklin County jumped out quick in a 3-1 win over visiting East Jackson to record a Sweet 16 berth.

CLASS 1A

#15 Banks County 3, #18 Heard County 0

The Lady Leopards won 3-0 at Heard County to roll into the Sweet 16 with relative ease.

#3 Oglethorpe County 3, #30 Commerce 0

The Lady Tigers’ season comes to a close in a 3-0 loss to 3-seed Oglethorpe.
