White County needed a win in a major way. They got it, and the recent improvement for the Warriors can certainly be traced to the return of star receiver Gaines Clark. That was evident against Dawson, where the junior had 73 receiving yards and a TD as part of his great night, hauling in four catches. This is his first POW award.

DONNIE WARREN – HABERSHAM CENTRAL
Donnie Warren doesn’t slow down – for the third time this season, the senior for Habersham Central earns POW honors. It’s becoming a habit to put up 200-yard games. This time, the Raider star running back posted 212 rushing yards and three TDs, and added 27 receiving yards with another score. For the season, Warren has 1,328 rushing yards and 15 TD, and 143 receiving yards and another score.
