Lumpkin County senior linebacker Wolf Harbin collected 20 tackles for the Indians in the last month, adding a forced fumble and a pass deflection. This is his first BLITZ award.

JEREMIAH MAYFIELD – FRANKLIN COUNTY

Franklin County’s 6-1 start to the season has largely been in part to the 2nd-ranked defense. The Lions have several standouts, but senior corner Jeremiah Mayfield has really impressed lately. In the past month, he has 13 tackles (one for loss), but has had an incredible knack for locking down the passing game. To that end, he had three interceptions, all of which he took back for six points. He also had five PBUs. This is his first BLITZ award.
