ALAINA MURPHY – TOWNS COUNTY

Towns County senior catcher Alaina Murphy batted .583 for the Lady Indians last week. Among her seven hits included a homerun, two doubles, and a triple, driving in six runs in the process. This is her first POW award.

RIVER EVANS – RABUN COUNTY

Back-to-back POW awards for River Evans, and her third of her career. The Rabun County sophomore third baseman hit a ridiculous .833 last week. She tallied a homerun on back-to-back-to-back games, and had TWO grand slams among her four homers and 18 RBI. This is incredible even for her standards.
