The BLITZ Softball Players of the Week are Lexi Davenport (Union), Izzy Anthros (Union), and Jenna Rapp (Jefferson). Davenport won the Fan Vote with 10,280 of the 22,378 total votes. Anthros and Rapp were the BLITZ Picks.

LEXI DAVENPORT – UNION COUNTY

Lexi Davenport was 1-for-3, batting .333 in the season-opening win for Union over Rabun. The sophomore had an RBI in the victory, and earns her first BLITZ POW award.

IZZY ANTHROS – UNION COUNTY

Junior star Izzy Anthros is at it again. This time, the Union County ace pitcher made some history in the process. Anthros got the win, allowing just one run and striking out a school record 19 batters against Rabun. She also had two hits (.500), and earns her fourth career POW award.

JENNA RAPP – JEFFERSON

Reigning BLITZ Player of the Year, Jenna Rapp, is off to a ridiculous start once again. The junior shortstop is going to be the best player to ever suit up for the Lady Dragons when it’s all said and done. Rapp hit .800 in the opening DH sweep for Jefferson, notching four hits. She had two homeruns, five RBI, five runs, a triple, and a walk. This is her third career POW award.
