The goals are lofty by the leaders of this Union County team. After an Elite 8 run last year, a young group will spur on the veterans to a hopeful deeper run in 2025.

“We lost five really great seniors from 2024, they were solid ball players, great young ladies who led by example and believed in what the program stands for,” says Roxbury. “They will truly be missed.”
Key Players: Izzy Anthros (JR P/IF), Ayla Jamison (SR P), Addison Whitener (SO IF), Jules Dyer (JR IF), Stella Collins (SO OF), Lexi Davenport (SO C/P), Jaslyn Roberts (SR IF), Zady Ludlum (SR IF), Peyton Grisham (SR IF), Delaney Moses (SR OF), Ella Akins (JR OF) Zadie Diaz (JR OF/P)
Strengths: “We have a strong group of leaders in this 2025 class,” adds Roxbury. “I think defensively we will be strong. We lost a lot of run production and offense last season, so we are working diligently to get where we think we need to be. Speed should be one of our strengths this season. We have a very fast sophomore in Leighton Hunter, and speedy freshman Marlee Cisneros, and very competitive freshmen Ava Stover, Madison Ponce, and Mya Jordan”

“We are continuing to build into these young ladies,” adds Roxbury. “We are working on team building and gaining confidence in this great game. The girls are working hard and are using last year’s ups and downs to motivate them for this 2025 season. The seniors’ goals this upcoming season are going back to Columbus for the Elite 8 and making it into the Final 4.”
