An Elite 8 run was the result of a 26-win campaign for Tallulah Falls. The program has been so consistent, making state now for 10 straight seasons, winning a State Championship in 2022, and Sweet 16 or further six of those ten seasons. With a solid core returning, TFS should be right back in the mix.

PRESEASON INFO

2024 Record: 26-16; Elite 8
Head Coach: Matt Heyl (8th Season)
Returning Starters: 5
Key Departures: Chesney Tanksley, Jace Ibemere, Julia Smith, Caroline Smith
Key Players: Rebecca Heyl, Margalida Amengual Sanchez, Laura Ruiz Rendon, Ca’Rin Swinton, Shelby Whisnant, Lily Smith
Strengths: Experience. There is still one player (Heyl) who played and won a state title as a freshman. The senior group of Heyl, Sanchez, and Rendon are uber-talented and should lead TFS back to a deep playoff run.
