Nine of our local teams made the playoffs, and only five remained as we reached the Sweet 16. From there, only three remain in the Elite 8.

CLASS 5A

#1 Roswell 4, #1 Habersham Central 1

The Lady Raiders’ incredible season closes in the Elite 8 at home in a tough 4-1 loss to nationally-ranked #2 Roswell. The defense turned away several attacks throughout the contest and left everything on the field.

CLASS 3A

#1 Jefferson 9, #8 Dawson County 0

The Lady Dragons rolled to a 9-0 final over former #1-ranked Dawson County, returning to the Final 4. Jefferson continues to have an unbelievable defense, and Dawson County’s fantastic season comes to a close.
