CLASS 5A

#3 Habersham Central 2, #1 South Paulding 1

The Raiders took game one by a 7-3 final over South Paulding before taking a 3-0 game two loss. That forced a game three. Habersham took the opportunity to make history and won the series to advance to their first-ever Elite 8 with a thrilling 9-5 victory!

CLASS 3A

#4 Troup County 2, #20 Dawson County 0

The Tigers fought til the very end, but fell in straight games to Troup County. Case Gravitt pitched extremely well, having a 1-hitter in the opening game through four. Ultimately, Troup won 5-4 on a walk-off steal of home. They won 8-5 in the clincher, ending Dawson’s season.

#21 Jefferson 2, #5 Oconee County 0

The Dragons won the opener 6-3 to put Oconee County on the brink. Jefferson pulled out a 5-4 win to move on to the Elite 8.

CLASS 2A

#13 Stephens County 2, #4 Redan 0

The Indians scraped out a hard-fought 4-2 game one victory. Stephens County won the second to reach the Quarterfinals.

CLASS 1A DI

#8 Washington County 2, #9 Banks County 0

The Leopards dropped the first game 7-4 against Washington County, sending Banks to a do-or-die game two. A 4-2 second game loss ended Banks County’s fantastic season.
