SPENCER FRADY – HABERSHAM CENTRAL

Habersham Central senior had ice veins for the Raiders in their first round game two. Down a game already, the Raiders needed someone to come up clutch to force a game three. Enter senior catcher Spencer Frady. He delivered a walk-off line drive hit to plate the winning run. Overall, he hit .444 in the series win (Habersham won the do-or-die the next day). He also threw out a would-be base stealer. This is his first award.

STEVEN TAVARES – JEFFERSON

Jefferson was forced to the brink in the Dragons’ opening round series. Senior Steven Tavares, a first baseman, batted .667 with 2 homers and seven RBI, adding a double as well. This is his first POW award.
