Diego Gonzalez had a huge week for the #8-ranked Indians. The senior shortstop hit .444 with four RBI, two doubles, three walks, and a stolen base. He also came up with a big win on the mound against #4 Athens Christian, to the tune of a 1.17 ERA and five strikeouts. This is his first POW award.

TY TRUELOVE – RABUN COUNTY

Ty Truelove is made for big moments. He showcased that all fall on the football field, and now on the diamond. The Rabun County junior second baseman hit .444 on the week with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That included a walkoff double to give the Wildcats a pivotal regoin win over Elbert. He sported a 1.250 OPS across three games, earning his fourth career POW award.
