Lumpkin County is in some new territory (at least in recent memory). 4-star athlete Cal Faulkner left an indelible mark on the program and for Indians athletics in general. He will be sorely missed. Several of the key players from the last two historic seasons are now gone…which puts Lumpkin in a crossroads.

Make no mistake, the foundation laid by coach Heath Webb and his staff will mean that while there might be a small ‘reset’, it doesn’t mean the program has to ‘rebuild’ anything. There’s enough talent here, and more importantly, culture, to keep this football program competitive.
