Back-to-back-to-back! Jefferson’s Kyle Davis keeps the award for a third straight year!

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

State Champion – 100 Fly
State 3rd – 50 Free
State 4th – 200 Free Relay

Davis was incredible at the GHSA State Championships at Georgia Tech. He won the state title in the 100 Fly, took 3rd in the 50 Free, and was a huge part of the 4th-place 200 Free Relay team.

Voting included our 21-person panel made up of sports reporters, writers, video producers, former coaches, players, GHSA officials, and sports experts. The voting is Heisman-style, with the following points system:
1st place votes: 5 pts; 2nd: 3 pts; 3rd: 2 pts; 4th: 1 pts; 5th-6th: 0.5 pts; 7th-8th 0.25 pts

Davis earned a lopsided 13 out of 21 1st-place votes. Caden Polley and Grayson Penland each had some as well, but Davis ran (or swam) away with this one.
