The BLITZ Golfers of the Week are Maeve Hatcher (Tallulah Falls) and Addie Maney (Habersham Central). Hatcher took 17,003 of the 39,140 votes to win the Fan Vote. Maney was the BLITZ Pick.

MAEVE HATCHER – TALLULAH FALLS

For the first time ever, an 8th-grader wins a BLITZ award. The requirement is a varsity player. With Tallulah Falls now in GIAA, that makes Maeve Hatcher’s historic award possible (8th graders can play at the varsity level). She fired a low-medalist round for TFS last week with a 39.

ADDIE MANEY – HABERSHAM CENTRAL

Addie Maney had a fantastic 3-match stretch with a 36, 37, and 39 against White County, Rabun County, and Franklin County, respectively. The senior’s average was 37.3, and this marks her third career POW award.
