The BLITZ Girls Soccer Players of the Week are Bailey Baker (Banks County) and Rileigh Raftelis (Lumpkin County). Baker earned the Fan Vote with 5,107 of the 7,425 total votes. Raftelis was the BLITZ Pick.

BAILEY BAKER – BANKS COUNTY

Sophomore midfielder Bailey Baker was key for the Banks County Lady Leopards. She played great defense, and was aggressive on that side of the ball. She helped cut off several attacks before they reached the back line. This is her first POW award.

RILEIGH RAFTELIS – LUMPKIN COUNTY

Lumpkin County’s top scorer and most consistent threat has been Rileigh Raftelis. The junior midfielder posted four goals and two assists for the Lady Indians last week in two games, earning her first POW award. She’s the 200th Lumpkin County athlete all-time to win POW honors.
