We caught up with Habersham Central Basketball prior to the 2024-25 region tournament. We talked with head coach Tommy Yancey and seniors Enzo Combs, JoJo McCurry, and Justus Gober, along with junior Judge Wilbanks.
The Raiders (21-3; 11-1 in region) have been ranked all season in the top-5 in the state, and have reeled off a handful of wins over top-10 opponents. Combs and McCurry have both eclipsed 1,000 career points, and the high-flying offense that includes the aforementioned quartet along with Jake Mihalik, Jalen Davis, and others is aiming for a first-ever region title and a deep playoff run.
