The back-to-back region champs have gone 31-3 over the past two seasons. All-time great Austin Ball is gone however, along with the program’s best keeper in history and top two defensive players. Still, the Indians have a plethora of talented and experienced players to make yet another run at a region title and deep playoff run.

PRESEASON INFO

2024 Record: 15-2; 1A DI State Sweet 16; Region Champions; #2 State Rank
Head Coach: Jeremy Stille (6th Season)
Returning Starters: 8
Key Departures: Austin Ball, Jakob Wehrstein, Josiah Turney, Brit Shaw, Kelton Reynolds, Laith Reynolds
Key Players: Jackson Cording, Alvaro Garcia-Breton, Clay Kafsky, Landon Hall, Jacob Mitchell, Jared Mullis, Versean Turnquist, Kale Borchers, Tyson Hall
Strengths: “Our major strength for this coming season is experience,” says Stille. “We have an opportunity to play 11 players that have significant competitive experience at the high school level, that have won region championships and understand the commitment and effort required for a playoff run. We have 11 returning varsity players this year, but several players are moving to varsity that played tremendously well on JV last year.”

“Our main objective is to grow as a unit throughout the season,” adds Stille. “While many of these guys have played together for years, adding new players to the mix will require us to gel quickly and develop a sense of understanding, trust, and brotherhood that is imperative to success on the field. In addition, we hope to continue our solid defensive showings, as displayed over the last couple of years, and increase our finishing percentage on the offensive end. The guys know our system, how we play, and will do well implementing the training sessions into game scenarios. I expect this team to be successful in both their individual and collective growth over the long season.”
