The Lady Tigers are set to build off their first-ever Final 4 run, and new head coach Zachary Arceneaux has a roster loaded with talent.

PRESEASON INFO

2024 Record: 14-5; 3A State Final 4; #2 State Rank
Head Coach: Zachary Arceneaux (1st Season)
Returning Starters: 10
Key Departures: Mattie Massengill
“Our starters varied last year based on game, but we only graduated three seniors,” says Arceneaux. “We return 16 varsity players from last years team.”
Key Players: Harper Dussouy, McKinley Adamson, Corbi Hicks, Melodie Martin, Allison Conard, Elena Nelson, Eisa Chapman, Nora Oliver
“It is challenging to pick out just a few. We are still a very young team with only three seniors this upcoming year. Every player played a huge part in our success last year. This year, the three experienced seniors that we return are Melodie Martin, Allison Conard, and Elena Nelson.
Strengths: “Our team is extremely talented. We will also benefit from the experience our young team gained in their deep playoff run last year. That kind of varsity experience, early on in their high school careers is something that we will learn from and build on.”

“We look forward to competing with a lot of strong programs in our new look region. I would love to see this team win the region on their way to our ultimate goal, winning the programs first state championship.”
