PRESEASON INFO

2024 Record: 8-9; 1A DI State RND 1; #4 State Rank
Head Coach: Deanna Clark (1st Season)
Returning Starters: 8
Key Departures: Ivy Tolbert, Rylee Allen, Arely Ledesma
Key Players: Belle Gary, Claire Hollars, Olivia Hollon, Sarah English, Madison Sanchez, Jasmine Diaz, Nevaeh Johnson
Strengths: “This team is very young, but very cohesive,” says Clark. “They had to learn trial by fire last year, with eight starting freshman. That experience should help them loads this season. We have a very physical group and a strong middle of the field. We return a majority of our starters.”

“It’s impossible to replace the skill and production of Ivy Tolbert and we know that,” adds Clark. “Our ladies have very high goals and expectations for themselves to pick up and continue the legacy of strong soccer at Commerce High School. Our team is young, but they are very strong together. They gained a lot of valuable experience last year that should pay off well for us this season. Our goal is to be competitive and be back up at the top of our region.”
