A Region Championship at Sweet 16 run was the mark of a great season for Banks County, as the team won 23 games and held a top-10 ranking. This year, with a loaded pitching staff, the sky is the limit.

Strengths: “Pitching and defense will be the strengths of our 2025 team,” says coach Jones. “We return over 200 innings on the mound with three arms that ramp it up to 90 mph and some good bullpen pieces. We have some pop in the lineup but will have to put everything together at the plate. We have a good group of baseball players but we have a great group of kids. They buy in, come to work everyday with an edge and they want to learn and get better each and everyday.”

“Coming off a Region Championship and winning 23 games, we expect to be in the thick of things again,” adds Jones. “We have goals of winning 30 games, winning region, and making a deep playoff run with this group.”
