Cal Faulkner had a 27-point output in a 75-45 final in Dahlonega on Friday night over rivals Dawson. 

TJ Gaddis did some heavy lifting early, putting in six of the first 11 points for Lumpkin. Faulkner hit a shot from downtown and had a 3-point play as the Indians raced out to a 22-2 lead going into the second. Faulkner had nine points in the first. 

He kept it going in the second, converting a 3-point play then throwing down a slam dunk. He recorded 17 points in the half, while Landon Pierce had 10. Both of them had a pair of shots from beyond the arc as the Indians were up 47-19 at the half. 

Both teams struggled shooting in the third, with Dawson outscoring Lumpkin 12-9 to make it a 58-31 score going into the final eight minutes. 

In the final stanza, Hagen Glenn drilled a couple deep balls to put the game far out of reach. Faulkner closed with 27 points. He was followed for Lumpkin by Landon Pierce (14 pts), Glenn (10 pts), Keiwhan Gallagher (7), Gaddis (6), Jackson Pulley (4), #12 (unknown; 3), and Walker Scott and Kolson Howell two apiece. Dawson was led by Jack Ledbetter with nine, Cayson Chester with seven, and six each for Kylon Driver, Mason Harvey, and Landon Lee. Jed Morris added five, while Gunnar Weaver and Paxon Garrett both had two.
