Sophomore Max Brown even as a middle schooler has been turning heads. He’s had older brother Sammy to look up to, as the 5-star recruit who was named a Freshman All-American after his first season at Clemson. Max is still an unrated recruit, but the 2027 linebacker has a dozen known offers by some of the top programs in the country.

Brown was named to the MaxPreps Sophomore All-American team (2nd Team Defense). This was the result of a sophomore year that saw him lead the Jefferson Dragons’ defense with 152 tackles (14 TFL), and two sacks, adding a forced fumble and three recoveries. He was instrumental in the Dragons making it to the Mercedes Benz for the GHSA State Championship, in which Jefferson fell to Calhoun.
