GAVIN MARKEY – JEFFERSON

An insane night for senior QB Gavin Markey leads to his 2nd POW award of the season and 3rd of his career. He put Jefferson on his back in the win over Cherokee Bluff to reach the Semifinals. Markey was 2-for-2 passing for 43 yards and 2 TDs, and rushed for 228 yards and 3 TD, averaging nearly 10 yards per carry. For the season, Markey has passed for 1,287 yards and 16 TD, and rushed for 1,445 yards and 21 TD.
