Throughout the football season, we will recognize a Defensive Player of the Month (Fan Vote winner and BLITZ pick) for each 4-week span. The Defensive Players of the Month for Weeks 9-12 are Jon Scott (White County) and Connor Bagley. Scott won the Fan Vote with 10,905 of the 23,276 total votes. Bagley was the BLITZ pick.

JON SCOTT – WHITE COUNTY

Jon Scott earns the nod 2 months in a row! He capped off another fantastic season (and his career) with an unreal stat line – 58 tackles…just in the last 4 games. 6 TFL, and interception (and TD). This is the White County SR linebacker’s 3rd BLITZ award.

CONNOR BAGLEY – LUMPKIN COUNTY

Connor Bagley finished the regular season with a vendetta against opposing offenses. The Lumpkin County SR LB registered 37 tackles (2 TFL), 2 forced fumbles, 2 blocks, 1 PBU, and 1 QBH. This is his first BLITZ award.
