We began with 40 POY Nominees for Softball. After careful consideration, we have narrowed it down to 7 finalists for Player of the Year. The finalists are: Izzy Anthros (Union), Sadie Dotson (Dawson), Carley Funderburke (Stephens), Peyton Gaylor (Banks), Jenna Rapp (Jefferson), Hallee Shirley (Stephens), and Desiree Trudel (Banks).

What’s Next? Now, the public gets to choose the ‘Last Finalist’; a vote from a select group who were just on the cusp of being finalists to add one more to the finalist pool. From there, our BLITZ internal voting panel, made up of local media members, former officials and coaches, etc will vote on the finalists Heisman-style to determine the winner.
