#1 HERITAGE, CATOOSA 2, #17 JEFFERSON 1

The Lady Dragons forced a game 3 with a beautiful 2-0 game 2 win after a 3-0 loss in the opener. Game 3 is slated for Friday. In that game, the Lady Dragons fell to the defending state champs, ending their season.

#4 WEST LAURENS 2, #20 WHITE COUNTY 0

West Laurens won 7-2 in the first game, and grabbed an early lead in the clincher while winning 21-1 in the second game. This ends White County’s season.

CLASS 2A

#13 STEPHENS COUNTY 2, #4 COLUMBUS 1

After an 8-3 win for Stephens in game one, they dropped the second 3-1 to get to a decisive game three. In that, the offense came alive in a 13-0 stellar performance. The Lady Indians advance to the Elite 8.

#22 UNION COUNTY 2, #6 BURKE COUNTY 0

The Lady Panthers move on after a dominating series in which they won 9-0 and 13-1.

#5 BANKS COUNTY 2, #12 VIDALIA 0

Banks County blasted past Vidalia 11-3 in the opener and then edged out a 3-2 win to advance to the Elite 8!
