Setting a school record, Morgan Walker collected 21 tackles in the Indians’ 5th win of the season, which came at Spartanburg. The junior linebacker had 1 tackle for loss, and added an interception. This is his first POW award.

ZEKE WHITTINGTON – HABERSHAM CENTRAL

Habersham’s most famous and GOAT of all receivers might always be Tavarres King. There’s no denying that. But what Zeke Whittington has done over his 4-year career includes numbers that are approaching the ‘King’. This last game, a win for the Raiders, the senior wideout hauled in 8 catches for 74 yards and 3 TD. He also had 8 rushing yards and 30 kick return yards to his credit. And here’s the deal…Whittington now has 278 career receptions for 3,254 yards and 28 TD. He has 774 yards and 12 TD this season, the latter of which is a record for him. Only 28 receivers in state history have 3K yards, and Whittington is currently 19th all-time. TK’s numbers is 3,726 (6th all-time). Whittington’s 28 career TD catches ranks 47th all-time, with TK at 37 (11th). What’s more, is that Whittington also has 282 career rushing yards and 4 TD, 1,079 kick/punt return yards, and 105 passing yards. He will go down as one of the best to ever put on the Raiders jersey. This is his 3rd POW award.
