The BLITZ Girls XC Runners of the Week are Ansley Moore (Banks County) and Carly Black (White County). Moore won the Fan Vote with 229 of the 357 total votes. Black was the BLITZ Pick.

ANSLEY MOORE – BANKS COUNTY

Ansley Moore is new to Banks County from Athens Christian as a 2-time Region Champion in XC and 7-time Region Champion in T&F as well as being a State Champion in the 800 and multiple state top-5s and top-10s in distance (both XC and T&F). She’s incredible. The junior came in 2nd place with a 19:53 last week in the Mountain Invite to lead the Lady Leopards. This is her first POW award.

CARLY BLACK – WHITE COUNTY

The freshman phenom is at it again. Carly Black for White County came in 3rd place with a 20:09 at the Mountain Invite last week, earning her second POW award.
