Towns County’s latest standout is Alexa Keys. The junior third baseman hit .750 for the Lady Indians last week, driving in 4 runs as part of her performance. This is her first POW award.

KATIE ANDERSON – TALLULAH FALLS

History made! The Lady Indians notched their first and second wins in program history (at the varsity level) last week against King’s Academy. It was a 15-3 win and a 15-13 extra-inning win, but Katie Anderson was the key reason for the success. She had a 2-homer game in the wild 15-13 game, and for the week she hit .786, going 11-for-14 in 4 games. That included 2 HR, 9 RBI, 8 runs scored, 8 stolen bases, and a pair of doubles. This is her first POW award.
