JULIANA ROBERTS – TALLULAH FALLS

Juliana Roberts made history for TFS with the first-ever RBI hit (as a varsity team), a double in a loss to Union County last week. Though the Lady Indians will take some lumps early, Roberts has been consistent at the plate, batting .500 last week. This is her first POW award.

MADISON DUDNEY – DAWSON COUNTY

Dawson County’s lineup plays anywhere and with anyone. But losing star ace pitcher Layne Bailey to graduation meant someone had to step up in the circle. Enter Madison Dudney. The junior last week went 2-0 with a 1.27 ERA, striking out 10 over 11 innings of work. If that’s any indication of what she can consistently bring, look out down the stretch. This is her first POW award.
