Stephens County won 13 games last season, the most since the 2018 season. That resulted in making the Super Regionals for the first time since that format began, and with a couple of wins, the Lady Indians were just shy of making a trip to Columbus.

Head Coach: Kasey Ivey (2nd Season)
2023 Record: 13-16; State Super Regionals (2-2)

Returning Starters: 7
Key Returners: SR OF Riley Walker, SO C/UTIL Carley Funderburke, SR Carson Stowe, Fayeth Ivester, Madison Wilson, Kaylee Glaze
Key Departures: Ally Means, Emerson LeCroy

Team Strengths: Walker provides a legitimate bat (.405 AVG, 3 HR, 20 RBI) to build around along with Stowe, who has BIG homerun power. That is a strength in itself heading into the fall. The team returns all but 2 players from last year’s Sweet 16 run, so there’s a lot of talent and experience.

Coming off the playoff run, the Lady Indians are hoping to take the next step and perhaps make a deeper run this time around, as well as vie for a region title.
