The Lady Dragons went 33-6 last season, riding all the way to a Region Championship and an Elite 8 (fourth straight Quarterfinals or deeper run). With a solid part of the lineup returning, this has the same special feeling that surrounds most of their seasons.

Head Coach: Brittani Lawrence (9th Season)
2023 Record: 33-6; State Elite 8; #3 State Ranking

Returning Starters: 5
Key Returners: OH Kaytlin Johnson, MH Amelia Pilgrim, OH Jolie Guenther, S Eva Claire Nelson, L Addison Headley
Key Departures: S/RS Helena Kelley, L Gertie Nazaroff, Morgan Hicks, Harlan Ashley
“We graduated four essential seniors, two of which were our offensive and defensive coordinators/captains,” says Lawrence. All four of them have left an incredible legacy!”

Team Strengths: Senior leadership, winning culture, team unity

“Losing to McIntosh in the fifth set of the Elite 8 on our home court placed a fire in our hearts, so playing with HEART (harmony, empowerment, appreciation, resilience, and trust) means so much more this season!,” adds Lawrence. “Each athlete brings experience and talent to the court, so we have been working diligently to define and unite our team strengths and enhance our chemistry! As always, we have set challenging yet achievable goals, such as 6peat Region Championship in our new highly competitive 8-AAA. Nonetheless, our 24-25 motto is “Seize the Moment” and that is exactly what we’re prepared to do point-by-point. Throughout the past two weeks, we have made lots of progress but also fully invested in the fast that we are just getting started!”
