The Lady Leopards made another Final 4 run last season, finishing 24-7 overall and #3 in the state. With a bulk of their talent back along with a standout transfer moving in, this could be a special season.

Head Coach: Rhett Carroll (2nd Season)
2023 Record: 24-7; Region Champions; State Final 4; #3 State Ranking

Returning Starters: 9
Key Returners: Peyton Gaylor, Desiree Trudel (Commerce transfer), Ryleigh Murphy, Reese Murphy, Allison Murphy, MaCayla Rice, Mackenzee Lewallen, Tylee Strickland, Trinity Haynes
Key Departures: Mary Faulkner (transfer to Morgan County), Carley Segars

Team Strengths: “Our strengths are experience and work ethic,” says Carroll. “These kids come to work everyday and work hard.”

Banks County’s Peyton Gaylor won 20 games with a 2.00 ERA and 176 K as a freshman…can you imagine what she’ll do this time around? Add in move-in Desiree Trudel (.468-10-23 from Commerce), and this team has sky-high expectations.
“Our expectations are to compete for a region championship and make a run in Columbus,” adds Carroll.
