Congrats to our 2024 Baseball Player of the Year Finalists! We had 42 nominees. After careful consideration, we narrowed the finalist pool down to 7. The finalists are: Sawyer Bearden (Dawson County), Cole Bonitatibus (Tallulah Falls), Danny Grant (Tallulah Falls), Kade Nicholson (Habersham Central), Gaven Sears (Banks County), Eston Simpson (Jefferson), and Judd Spear (Banks County).

Of the baseball players who didn’t make our finalist pool, select members are now up for a LAST FINALIST vote by you, the public. This voting is unlimited, and ends Tuesday at 1 PM. VOTE HERE or Scroll Below. Following the ‘Last Finalist’ Fan Vote Winner, the finalist group will be voted on internally with a panel of up to 25 local media reporters, former GHSA officials, coaches, etc to determine the Baseball Player of the Year. The voting is Heisman-style.
