Danny Grant batted .667 last week for #4-ranked Tallulah Falls. The junior outfielder was 6-for-9 at the dish, and notched an RBI while scoring 3 runs and clubbing a double while also swiping a bag. This was all in a 3-game stretch that included a critical double-header sweep at #6-ranked Elbert County. This is Grant’s first POW award.

CHRIS LAW – JEFFERSON

What a couple of games it was for Chris Law of the Jefferson Dragons. The senior first baseman batted 1.000, going 4-for-4. He blasted a homerun, had 6 RBI, 3 runs scored, and a double. Law earns his first POW award.

JAXON FOSTER – COMMERCE

Jaxon Foster had a video-game like stat line for the Commerce Tigers. In 3 games, the senior pitcher/DH went 3-for-4 (.750 average) with a Grand Slam. He had the homer with 7 RBI. That alone would be worthy of Player of the Week honors. But he also was 1-0 with a spotless 0.00 ERA while throwing a complete game shutout with 11 strikeouts. This is Foster’s second POW award.
