With the conclusion of the Winter Sports season in the 2023-24 school year, we present the second update to the BLITZ Cup Standings. The final standings come once Spring Sports wrap up.
In the first update, Jefferson had 81 points and Lumpkin County was 2nd with 67. Lumpkin leapfrogged behind a State Championship run by Wrestling and boys basketball Sweet 16. Lumpkin now has 135 points to Jefferson’s 128 as we reach spring sports. Union County, Banks County, and Rabun County are all in the 100s. The biggest riser from the fall is Union (up 4 spots), with Dawson (down 4) as the biggest drop.
